Death and life after death
In Igbo land do we believe in life after death yes in the Bible it's called heaven but the Igbos called it anammo.
Igbo people believe in life after death that is why they have 2 types of death
1) Ezionwu,
2) Ajoonwu
Ezionwu is when a person lived a good life marry and died peacefully and is buried properly.
Ajoonwu is when a person die prematurely maybe in arm robbery etc
This kind of people are not buried properly and therefore becomes a wondering spirit because they will not be welcomed in the land of the dead, in Igbo land they are called "Akaloghori".
In Igbo land we have 2 types of Ndichie

First one are those people that have lived a good life, became titled men like Nze na Ozo died and was properly buried
They are called Ndichie Nona Obi, they are called so because they are represented by Okpesi which stays permanent in every Obi.
Ndichie noini nso are those elders and titled men that are close to the grave
There are two types of Ndichie Nona Obi Ichie ukwu and Ichie nta
Those that lived a good life died and burial without title are called Ichie nta, those with title are called Ichie ukwu
